The Saltire Society Housing Design Awards Winners Announced.

The Saltire Society has presented its 2010 Housing Design Awards at a high profile ceremony in Edinburgh – with Scottish Culture Minister Fiona Hyslop MSP handing out the gongs. 

AMA were once again involved and picked up a commendation for large scale housing development, for its site at Springside.

Mr McAslan, the inaugural guest chair of the awards committee - and current world architect of the year congratulated the extremely high quality of entry to this year’s scheme, which has seen a 100 % increase in submissions on 2008/2009.

Guest of Honour Fiona Hyslop MSP stressed the importance of schemes like the Saltire Society’s in ensuring a diverse, innovative housing stock for Scotland.

AMA is no stranger to Saltire awards as its St Vincent Place development won the Saltire award in 2007.
